Field Day Public Relations Committee- Right now, will be the Field Day chairperson, and co-chairperson, along with 1 or 2 other volunteers. These Coordinators, along with the Executive Board of GARS, will create news releases for cable tv, local papers (Bourne paper, Plymouth Paper), Regional Papers (Brockton Enterprise, Cape Cod Times, Patriot Ledger) as well as Major Market Papers (Boston Globe & Hearald), Radio Staions WPLM, WQRC, BOSTON MEDIA GROUP, and others. They will also be in charge of obtaining material about Ham Radio, and manning the Public Informatoin Table. Also to create flyers to be posted in local shops on the South Shore, inviting non-hams to come and see the operation, listen in, grab a bite, and if the person is a licenced ham, to operate. NOTE: Information on HAM RADIO CLASSES and TESTING will be available.

7.3.4. Public Information Table: 100 bonus points for a Public Information Table at the Field Day site. The purpose is to make appropriate handouts and information available to the visiting public at the site. A copy of a visitor's log, copies of club handouts or photos is sufficient evidence for claiming this bonus.
